This After Arts salon is themed around the world of haute couture and will feature speaker Javier Peral. This will be a fun one! I’m giving my DMA lecture recital on my dissertation topic, which explores play structures and game mechanics within musical works. There will be a brief (10-15 minute) lecture followed by approximately 30 minutes of music, including a world premiere of a special commissioned work by composer Aidan Gold. I’ll be joined by a stellar cast, including Baron Fenwick, piano; Aidan Gold, percussion and electronics, Dominic Law, bass, and Jingrui Liu, clarinet.
