To commemorate, grieve, reflect on, etc. and mark the odd anniversary of one year without live performing arts, I'm presenting Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's piano suite The Seasons, a set of twelve short piano pieces- one for each month- that describe perhaps a most idyllic experience of a year in passing. I hope you'll join me in reliving a poignant, secret year encapsulated in these beautiful pieces- sometimes simple and childlike, sometimes melancholy and longing, sometimes unabashedly joyful. $3 to RSVP, suggested donation minimum $10.
